How to play Checkers
- Men move diagonally forward one square onto empty dark squares.
- If an adjacent opponent sits before an empty landing square, you must jump and capture — multi-jumps continue if available.
- Reach the farthest row to crown a king, which can move and capture diagonally forward and backward.
- Win by capturing all opposing pieces or leaving the opponent with no legal move.

- Keep a solid back rank to delay enemy kings.
- Forced jumps cut both ways — bait captures that wreck their structure.
